2016 was a really good year for Lars Laj! In the last 12 months we have met new challenges that resulted in interesting experiences, had smaller and bigger successes and plenty of ideas, that we will surely use in 2017!

In 2016, the hearts of our customers was conquered first and foremost by ships. Both the Small Ship from Nature as well as the Small Ship of the Discovery Line were among the most frequently ordered products. The unique combination of many play modules such as sandpit, slide and climbing trail in this product makes it possible to create a multi-purpose playground even in a very confined space. Among new products, the Pixie Playground has become the unquestioned leader of 2016. Slider, climbing net and ladder, together with educational elements combined into one device - have you ever wanted more from the play unit?

For Lars Laj 2016 was also a year of interesting challenges. Creating a design of playground for Copenhagen-Kastrup Airport required use all of our creativity, to combine functionality with modern, minimalist design so popular in Scandinavia.

Another interesting project was the creation of a playground and fitness area for the people of Naryn. The purchase was founded by His Majesty Aga Khan IV: Founder and Chairman of the Aga Khan Development Network, an organization that aims to revitalize the rural communities. Project in Naryn Park has been completed and has been growing in popularity since the beginning of September.

One of our ventures in 2016 was established cooperation with the Visual Arts Faculty in the Academy of Art in Szczecin. We took the patronage of the ongoing semester of the competition for 3-rd year Interior Architecture students. Collaboration with the Academy of Arts in Szczecin is the beginning of Lars Laj's long-term cooperation plan with local higher education institutions. When we learn from each other - everyone wins! |
2016 was a year of a jubilee - we celebrated 20 years of activity in Poland. For this occasion we have thrown a big party, with all our partners from around the world invited. The feast lasted until the morning, however apart from the fun, this was also an exciting opportunity to bring up new plans and sets goals for the next 20 years.
